A hike to the red porphyry domes in Vöran/Verano

Hike with a view to the most beautiful but less known viewpoints in Vöran

Not only the Knottnkino in Vöran offers spectacular views. Our guides take you to the lesser-known but still beautiful viewpoints, the so-called 'Beimstein Knott' and 'Timpfler Knott'. Both are part of the geologically interesting 'red rocks' of Vöran. On the way, you will learn about the visible mountain peaks and the surrounding villages.

Route: Verano village - "Beimstein Knott" - "Timpfler Knott" - Verano village
Start: 10.00 a.m. at the Infopoint in Verano
Return: approx. 12 noon
Price: free of charge
Participants: min. 4 people - limited number of participants

Approach
By cable care: Take the Burgstall - Vöran cable car to Vöran; then a short walk to the village centre. The Infopoint is located above the church

By bus: Take bus no. 204 to the bus stop Vöran Dorf; the Infopoint is located 2 minutes below the bus stop

By car: There is a free car park in the village centre of Vöran above the church
