The internationally successful pianist and composer Giovanni Allevi is coming to the Kursaal in Merano in January 2025.

Giovanni Allevi, internationally renowned composer and pianist, is responsible for a profound renewal of classical music and is bringing the art of composition back into the consciousness of the younger generation. He holds diplomas in piano and composition as well as a degree in philosophy with a thesis on ‘The Void in Contemporary Physics’.
He has performed on the stages of the most important concert halls in the world, from Carnegie Hall in New York to La Scala in Milan and the Auditorium of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Thanks to his intellectual commitment, he is a philosophical reference for the concepts of innovation and the analysis of change.

His latest book is entitled ‘Le regole del Pianoforte - 33 notes of music and philosophy for a life beyond the ordinary’ (Ed. Solferino). He is the author and presenter of an innovative and award-winning documentary series broadcast on Rai Play: ‘Allevi in the Jungle’.

With the notes of his latest single ‘Our Future’ (https://youtu.be/76C5cn9jQKQ), dedicated to the planet, the composer began his collaboration with the Earth Day European Network, where he is an ambassador for the most important green initiative for the Earth. Maestro Allevi was awarded the title of Ambassador for his role as a multiplier among young people, thanks to his intellectual commitment and his artistic talent as an expression of a universal language.
