Exhibition: Coming-Out - Women loving women in South Tyrol tell their stories
The opening on September 18th is free of charge and starts at 7.00 pm. The visit to the museum with admission.
Guest showcase by Lisa Settari.
In this exhibition, Lisa Settari offers insights into her master's thesis on the coming-out narratives of women who love women in South Tyrol's recent history. The work is based on twenty oral history interviews that Lisa Settari was allowed to conduct with ten women-loving women. Thanks to these oral sources and a focus on women's, gender and queer history, the existing historiography of South Tyrol can be both enriched and critically scrutinised.
Lisa Settari: born 1994 in Merano, Bachelor in Political Science, Master in European Women's and Gender History, currently lecturer at the ‘Alexandru Ioan Cuza’ University in Iași (Romania).
