Farms up close: From Milk to Ricotta (Psairer Langis)
Hike to the farm Aignerhof, tour of the farm and the farm's own cheese dairy. Followed by a ricotta production and subsequent tasting
Where does the milk come from? How is a cow actually milked? And how is it fed? What all happens on the fascinating journey from the blade of grass to the finished cheese? And above all, what is it that makes organic cheese so special?
Let farmerwoman Anna answer all these questions and learn more interesting information about the fascinating farm day, organic animal husbandry and the farm's sustainable vision. During a guided tour of the farm's own show dairy, farmerwoman Anna explains how the farm's own cheese is made and which varieties are produced. Afterwards, a ricotta is made together, which is tasted together with other farm products.
