Baby Pit Stop - Town Hall

The Soroptimis Merania Club has joined the national 'Baby Pit Stop' project, which involves setting up a space dedicated to welcoming mothers who want to breastfeed and change their babies' nappies. A first Baby Pit Stop was set up at the combined library in Sinigo, a second at the civic library in Via delle Corse.

Motivated by the success of the first two initiatives and aware of the importance of the service offered, the members of Soroptimist Merania - in cooperation with the town municipality of Merano - set up a third project in the town hall in Via Portici.

The 'Space for Women and Children' is also equipped with tables and chairs as well as games for children.
