After a conviction, young Jojo has to do community service in a retirement home as punishment. Every day he shows up in old Leo's room to paint the walls.
Leo, a former boxer trapped in his lonely resentment, initially ignores the intruder. But little by little a dialogue begins between the two, which at first is a confrontation, then becomes a challenge and finally turns into a friendship that unites them.
