Fiery red and orange woods under a clear blue sky: it’s autumn in Passeiertal Valley! The bright colours of the landscape form the perfect stage for autumn
walks and the enjoyable Törggelen tradition in rustic restaurants, mountain inns and taverns. Pork sausage, sauerkraut and South Tyrolean dumplings are washed down with a glass of Nuier wine, with chestnuts, sweet doughnuts and Suser to finish the meal. A special highlight at this time of year is the Psairer autumn. Based on the motto “rustic pastures and hearty farmhouse food”, visitors are invited to enjoy atmospheric autumn walks, taste local Speck bacon and cheese, visit the autumn markets and much more.
