6. Authentic character
In the
Portici Arcade, one of the main shopping streets of the old town, you can still find various owner-managed, traditional shops. Here you can stroll in a quiet atmosphere even on rainy days, because the typical arcade shape offers good protection even in bad weather. Regional products and crafts can also be found at the Merano Market, which has become the central meeting place on Saturday morning.
7. A coffee please!
Roasted coffee beans, passionate baristas and that distinctive scent: strong, black and aromatic it satisfies all the senses. Coffee is one of the most rooted pleasures in Italy and according to the latest findings it is even healthy. In Merano you can enjoy real espresso, macchiato or cappuccino in a particularly stylish way: whether with delicious cake, a magazine or just enjoying the coffee and a pleasant conversation while sitting outdoors kissed by the sun.
