Andreas Vitasek's new programme ‘Spätlese’ is a satirical look at the turn of the century: Tart, but with a pinch of residual sweetness, he sheds light on current topics such as climate protection, the pandemic, political correctness, advertising, artificial intelligence and natural stupidity. Vitasek takes the audience on nostalgic trips back to a time when everything was supposedly better and talks about his own past as a child in Favoriten and his life as a boomer in the posh diplomatic quarter.
Of course, an old acquaintance is not to be missed - as well as many astute observations and just as much humour. ‘Spätlese’ offers trenchant, tongue-in-cheek and sometimes acerbic entertainment that will make you laugh as well as think.
