General description
This trail is rather uneven, running along the entire segment is recommended only for experienced runners.
Route description
The starting point for the trail Schützenbründlrunde is the parking area located above Grüner Baum Inn (1,317 m) and Das Stübele Restaurant. The Tour Schützenbründlrunde no. 14 leads to the Rotstein-Kogel, where the famous Knottnkino (open cinema) is situated. Afterwards following the route no. 11 until the Weiher Bruggen Pond below the Leadner Alm Mountain Hut (1,514 m) and back to the starting point on route no. 16.
Description to arrive at destination
Coming from both directions of the freeway Meran/Merano - Bolzano/Bozen (MEBO), take the exit of Meran Süd/Merano Sud and follow directions towards Meran first, to then turn right towards Hafling/Avelengo, follow the street to Vöran/Verano – the parking place is located above Grüner Baum Restaurant and Das Stübele Restaurant.

With the bus until the bus stop "Sportplatz Vöran":
- Bus no. 204 "Hafling - Vöran - Mölten - Terlan - Bozen"
- Bus no. 225 "Meran - Hafling - Falzeben" (until Hafling Dorf, than change to busline no. 204)
