The Tschögglberg vacation region was awarded the international GSTC certification (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) and the South Tyrol Level 3 sustainability label at the beginning of 2025 in collaboration with the Hafling-Vöran-Meran 2000, Jenesien and Mölten tourism associations. The aim of this project was and is to turn the Tschögglberg into a sustainable tourism destination.
To achieve this goal, a strategy was developed to show ways in which tourism can support the local community and nature without jeopardizing their integrity. The aim is to create a balance between the environment, social well-being and economic viability, thereby protecting and promoting the Tschögglberg habitat
