A thriller about the executive floors of Austrian politics and business. And unfortunately true. OMV, Austria's largest company, is an oil, gas and petrochemicals group. The investigative journalists at DOSSIER have been researching OMV since 2020. Until then, the company had largely kept critical reporting under control by advertising in Austria's largest newspapers. But DOSSIER does not accept advertising. And uncovers unbelievable things: Post shenanigans, greenwashing, secret sponsorship contracts with Putin's favourite football club, a lot of state assets for OMV boss Rainer Seele ... The investigations become the subject of parliamentary questions, in the Ibiza Committee, at climate demonstrations and at the OMV Annual General Meeting. The New York Times reports, the OMV share price collapses temporarily, the CEO of OMV resigns. Calle Fuhr tells of this research, of background discussions in disreputable Viennese pubs, open exchanges of blows between DOSSIER and OMV, of threats, lawsuits and the and the struggle for transparency. "Theatre as an investigative thriller. Calle Fuhr brings the business thriller to the stage in an exciting and understandable way. Rarely is theatre so topical." (Julia Fellerer, ORF)
