Lueg bridge (Austrian side of Brenner)
From January 2025, the Lueg bridge will only be passable in one lane. The traffic on the Lueg bridge will be temporarily limited to one lane in each direction in order to allow for major maintenance work to ensure optimal safety. During periods of heavy traffic, there will continue to be two lanes available (approx. 170 days a year — exact schedule to follow). Recent tests have shown that this solution is feasible and maintains a smooth and safe flow of traffic, minimising inconvenience for motorists.
The precise dates are currently being worked out by ASFINAG.
