Tobogganing by night

Moonlight tobogganing is not just limited to full moon nights: the 2.5-kilometre-long sledge run at Obereggen is perfectly groomed for night-time, and is floodlit every Tuesday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to boot! Head up to the heights on the “Ochsenweide” gondola lift and whizz down on a one-person or two-person sledge.

With the public bus line:
- 181 from Bolzano and Ponte Nova,
- 184 from Pietralba, Monte S. Pietro, Nova Ponente, Nova Levante, Ega and Stenk,
bus stop: Obereggen; online bus timetables on the website of South Tyrol Mobility.

By car: Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Obereggen (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).
