Easy mountain tour to the beautiful panoramic peak

End point: Prantach - 7th hairpin bend
Refreshment stop: Pfandler Alm
Route description
Starting at the Pfandleralm mountain pasture parking lot, the much-used E5 trail (eastwards) leads to the Pfandleralm, then up a steep ascent to the Prantacher Mahder meadows at an elevation of about 2,000 m. Now leave the E5 trail on the left and head north before reaching the summit (1) with an abundance of panoramic views to enjoy.
The descent is the same as the ascent (in reverse).

Description to arrive at destination
Coming from Merano into the Passeier Valley to St. Martin, then continue left along the small road in the direction of the Passeier Golf Course. After the Golf Lodge Hotel, follow the road to the left in an easterly direction to Prantach. At the 7th bend on the right side is the parking lot at the mountain inn Pfanderalm.
Parking
Parking is available at the parking lot at Berggasthof Pfandlerhof.
Public transport
There is no public bus to Prantach. For this tour you need a car to get to the starting point.

This relatively easy tour requires only a little physical condition.
Equipment
As equipment, good hiking boots, hiking clothing and rain protection are recommended.
