Michael Cunningham - Pulitzer Prize 1999 - in dialogue with Andrea Moro
The author of eight books: The Hours (1999), translated into 41 languages, and winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, the Pen/Faulkner Award and the 2000 Grinzane Cavour Prize for the Section Foreign Fiction, Flesh and Blood (2000), for which he received the Whiting Writer's Award, Una casa alla fine del mondo (2001), Mr. Brother (2002), Dove la terra finisce(2003), Al limite della notte (2010), La regina delle nevi (2014) and Day, published with La Nave di Teseo in 2023. Stephen Daldry's film was based on the novel The Hours, starring Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman and Julianne Moore, and a film version directed by Michael Mayer was made from a House at the End of the World. In 2016, he published the short story collection A Wild Swan. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Pasadena, California, he now lives in New York City.
