18th Asfaltart International Street Art Festival

Welcome to the international Street Art Festival in Meran. Come & join us at the most exciting event of the year “ASFALTART”. The town center then turns into an open-air stage for clowns, trapeze artists, musicians and fire breathers. The 2024 festival comprises a handicraft market and a gastronomy stall on the Passer Promenade.

The event takes place within the pedestrian zone, we suggest using public transportation. From the train station, the most convenient option is to board one of the city lines (1, 4, or 5) to reach the "Meran, Theaterplatz" stop, and continue on foot.

We suggest opting for comfortable footwear and bringing along a reusable water bottle, easily refillable at the fountains in the city centre. Water flows in the drinking fountains from spring to autumn. Depending on the weather and temperatures, the fountains are in operation from the beginning/middle of April to the middle/end of October.

For protection from the sun/In the summer months/If the sun is strong, we recommend bringing sun cream, a baseball cap or other head covering. It is also a good idea to bring a seat cushion or hiking pad for this event.

We would like to point out that there are crowds of people at this event and that it can be very loud at times. This could cause seizures and anxiety.
