Die Vodkagespräche

So an unsatisfactory inheritance spoils the fun. Especially when vodka is involved. Sisters Edda and Freya meet at their parents' house after their father's funeral. Their father has left everything except the villa to a foundation. As they wash away their grief with vodka, memories of their childhood, their father's beliefs and their absent mother come flooding back. They have the kind of conversations full of love and hostility that only siblings know and can have. Even the seven deadly sins come up for discussion. Actresses Karoline Eichhorn and Catrin Striebeck, well-known from film, television and theatre, deliver almost two hours of concentrated acting. Together with Danish author Arne Nielsen and musician Jonas Landerschier, they form the artist collective J.A.C.K, which delivers an exciting evening of theatre with "Die Vodkagespräche": "They give each other nothing - and the audience everything.
