Where is Schenna today, and how should our village evolve? These were the central questions of the SCHENNA.WEITER.DENKEN project by the municipality of Schenna. The new village concept establishes guidelines for future decisions and includes principles and actionable measures across key areas. Sustainability has emerged as a central theme, with the United Nations’ goals and the South Tyrol Regional Government’s sustainability strategy serving as foundational elements. The municipality collaborated with citizen councils, associations, and organizations to gather diverse input from residents, ensuring broad support for the resulting plan.
