With its mild climate, the diverse landscape and the mountain panorama, the holiday area of Meran/Merano and Environs in South Tyrol is made for a special type of golfing holiday. In close surroundings of Schenna/Scena are also three golf courses: The 18-hole Panorama Golf Course Passeier.Meran, around 18 km from Schenna, the “Blue Monster” Golf Course in Eppan/Appiano with nine challenging golf courses on more than 10,000 square metres green and the 9-hole obstacle course of Lana golf course.
Passeier.Meran offers a variety of obstacles, including lotus ponds and even bunkers. The extensive 18-hole site captivates with a challenging obstacle course of a sporting 5,755 metres in length. The attached golf school offers an extensive course and training programme as well as a tournament schedule.
In contrast, the Lana golf facility ten kilometres from Schenna below the Brandis castle ruin is surrounded by orchards. The mostly evenly laid-out 9-hole obstacle course was originally designed by golf course architect and pioneer Michael Pinner and it is also suitable for novices.
The golf course in Eppan can be played on nine challenging golf courses. The course is suitable for novices as well as professionals.
Numerous hotels in Schenna have special offers for golf players, from the Greenfee discount to the tournament entry fee.
