General description
Over beautiful meadow slopes leads this family hike to the Bachlerhof farm. Traditional specialty of the house: The Schenner Krapfen, a typical pastry from Schenna on the menu.
Route description
From the church in Verdins, follow trail number 16 (Wieser Steig) uphill to the upper road and the restaurant Hasenegg. Cross the road to reach Hoferhof farm and from there, take the path through the meadow up to the Vallplatzhof farm access road. Follow the road from there to Bachlerhof, where you will find a lovely sunbathing lawn.
For the return, first walk back down the road until you reach the hiking trail No. 16, turning left past Vallplatzerhof and continuing back to Hoferhof. From here, walk south along the Schenner Waalweg to the valley station of the Taser cable car, from where you can take the bus back to Schenna.
