Scena to St. Georgen and back to Schenna

General description

This pleasant, approximately one hour-long hike leads from Scena to the district of St. Georgen, which attracts visitors with its fresco-decorated round church and wonderful views of the mountains of Merano and Environs.

Route description

The starting point of the hike is the center of Schenna. From there, you initially walk along the main road towards Meran until you reach the St. Georgen/Pichler junction. There, you pass by the mini-golf course and continue up St. Georgenstraße to the "Rodelstein"; here, at the bus stop, the footpath to St. Georgen branches off to the left, slightly uphill. Once in the St. Georgen district, you continue slightly uphill towards the Waalweg. Here, path no. 14 branches off to the left and leads through the meadows, past Krebishof and Lothhof, back to Schenna.

From Merano direction Schenna and further to the village center.
