Hike along the "Raststeinweg" Trail

General description

This lovely circular hike winds through the scenery above Merano and offers leisure hikers the full range of scenic charms - shady woodland, blossoming meadows and rustic farms.

Route description

The hike on the Raststeinweg trail starts at the minigolf in Schenna. First, you walk uphill along Pichlerstraße until you reach Bergerweg (No. 18A), where you turn right and pass Roathhöfen and Fungganell farms along the Ratscheidweg trail until you reach Rastlhof. Follow the access road to Salfnerhof and Salfgut, then descend slightly to Raststeinweg trail. This pleasantly shaded path merges into Gsteirer Weg and finally leads back to Schenna along St.-Georgener-Straße.

From Merano direction Schenna and further to the fire brigade station Schenna.
