Colourful flower meadows are a real treat for our eyes. Above all, however, they are an important habitat for the insects and mini-beasts that are essential for our ecosystem. This is because if the insects disappear, then the basis of our birds’ diet also disappears. For years now bird population numbers have been falling dramatically.
It's time to act. This wild flower meadow is one way for us to give a little bit of biodiversity back to nature.
