Mountan: passion & emotions - Hiking Tour: castle hike in the Überetsch region

This Thursday the hike leads us to Überetsch.

Guided hikes along the irrigation canals, through farmsteads and high Alpine routes; breath-taking views!

This Thursday: ia the Eppaner Höhenweg we hike past the Gasthof Buchwald to Perdonig. From there we hike up to Hofeppan Castle, where the castle tavern invites you to stop for a bite to eat. After refreshments, we hike on to Andrian, where the bus awaits us.

walking time: approx. 4,5 hours
Height difference: ascent 250 m and descent 850 m

Approach

Meeting point is the tourism office Schenna. (Erzherzog-Johann-Platz 1/D), parking is available the centre. Access by public transport: Bus line 231 (10 minutes) from Merano (bus stop approx. 50 m away).

Hiking boots, weather protection, something to drink.

The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the excursion, after which 50% of the ticket will be retained.
