Mix all ingredients to a sticky dough, fold in the apples at the end. Now form balls with moistened hands and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the oven preheated to 180° (hot air) for about 20 minutes until golden.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
TIP: Serve with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. If you like, you can also mix sultanas into the batter.
