Due to the mild climate, golfers in South Tyrol have the opportunity to play golf almost year-round.
The Lana Brandis golf club is located below romantic castle ruins, and offers a challenging nine-hole course with a total length of 2,793 meters (par 35). A few kilometers further along in S. Leonardo/St. Leonhard is the Passeier Golf Club, with an 18-hole course and a total length of 5,719 meters (par 71). There are additional golf courses in Monte S. Pietro/Petersberg (18-hole course) and the Dolomite Golf Club in Val di Non/Nonsberg.
