Horse riding in Marlengo and environs

Thanks to its panoramic location, Marlengo offers a unique view of one of the largest and loveliest horse racing courses in Europe. Lucrative races ensure an international atmosphere.
The start of the racing season is marked by the Haflinger gallop race on Easter Monday, as part of which there is also a procession of horses through the spa town of Merano.
Alongside countless other races, the Gran Premio di Merano in September is the highlight of the horse racing season for thousands of enthusiastic followers.

Many stables in the surrounding area provide young and old riders alike with the opportunity to ride out on the Haflinger horses that are native to the region.
