Vineyard Geier – STEIL, the sparkling wine from South Tyrol’s steepest vineyard 🥂⛰️🌿

At 550 m above sea level, surrounded by deciduous and coniferous forests on the Marlinger Berg, lies the unique Geier Vineyard. With slopes of up to 75%, it is South Tyrol’s steepest vineyard accessible by vehicles – cultivated partly by hand and partly with machines built by Geier GmbH itself. 🚜🍇

Here, sustainability is key: no pesticides, no glyphosate – just organic, natural cultivation on rocky loam soil. Gentle morning updrafts and cooling evening breezes give the grapes their special character. 🌱💨

The result? STEIL – a sparkling cuvée of Bronner and Solaris, with fine aromas of 🍑 peach, 🍍 pineapple, and 🍋 lemon. Each year, over 10,000 bottles are produced – available directly at the vineyard or in Marling’s Center Market. 🥂🍾✨

👉 A sparkling wine that unites nature, innovation and craftsmanship in every sip! 🥂💫

Tiroler Platzl in Marling 🌿

Tiroler Platzl is one of the largest initiatives in the greater Tyrol region. The park in the center of Marling was redesigned as part of Tyrol’s 200th anniversary in 2009. 🕰️⛰️
Rocks from the respective parts of Tyrol and the historic map, which shows the greater Tyrol region, commemorate Tyrol’s common history.📖

📍 Located in the center of Marling – worth a visit for a glimpse into history.
