Unique and beautiful Marling Waalweg Trail to Töll/Tel with start in the center of Marling.
12 kilometers long, the Marlinger Waalweg trail is a popular hiking trail which runs along the former irrigation channels, the longest of its kind in South Tyrol.
From the village square in Marling the route heads along path no. 33 up to the Marling Waalweg trail. Follow the Waalweg signposts toward Töll/Tel. At the end of the Waalweg follow the path along the river Etsch/Adige as far as Töll/Tel railway station. From there, it is possible to catch the train back to Marling/Marlengo.
From Meran/Merano or the valley Vinschgau/Val Venosta to the centre of Marling/Marlengo.
On the public car parks in the center of Marlengo (next to the fire brigade and in the Traubenwirt's park) can be parked for free for 120 minutes (with parking ticket!). For a longer parking time parking tickets can be solved (0,50 € / hr), whereby two hours are always free.
Starting point in Marling/Marlengo: The bus line 212 stopps directly in the centre of Marling/Marlengo.
Return to Marling/Marlengo from Töll/Tel: From the railway station in Töll/Tel the train number 250 runs to the stationo of Marling/Marlengo. Then from the station 10 minutes back into the village centre.
