Lana in Bloom: South Tyrol’s Most Delightful Celebration

Spring awakens: a season of beauty and flavors

As spring breathes new life into the landscapes of Lana, nature unveils one of its most spectacular shows: the bloom. Apple orchards, fruit trees, and wild herbs burst into color and fragrance, setting the stage for a series of immersive culinary and cultural experiences in South Tyrol. From April 1 to 30, Lana in Bloom invites you to taste the finest farm products, forage for wild herbs, visit art exhibitions, explore herbs, birds, and the region’s renowned fruit cooperative, admire historic farms, practice yoga in nature, and even swing a golf club under the blossoming trees.

Lana connects. Spring and festivities.

Spring in South Tyrol is a feast for the senses. Whether you stroll along the Delights from Local Farms street market, wander from farm to farm during the Blossom Farm Festival, or aim for a hole in one at the Apple Blossom Golf Tournament – Lana in Bloom presents the season at its most enchanting.

Live from the orchards: the apple blossom cam

Even if you can’t experience the sweet scent of the blossoms firsthand, you can still witness their beauty from anywhere in the world. Our live camera, set amidst the apple orchards, captures breathtaking images and sends a touch of spring straight to you, wherever you may be.

Take a look!
A splash of color: vibrant watering cans

Beyond the festivities, Lana and its surroundings offer plenty to marvel at. As the gardening season begins, pastel-colored zinc watering cans sway gently from the trees, bringing bursts of color to the villages of Lana, Tscherms/Cermes, Burgstall/Postal, and Gargazon/Gargazzone. In Lana’s pedestrian zone, these playful installations add to the vibrant atmosphere, with shop windows joining in on the creative tribute to spring.

A precious gift: the apple box

To celebrate the arrival of spring, we welcome our guests with a special surprise – packed with care inside a sustainable apple box. Crafted from upcycled apple pomace, a byproduct of juice production, this unique packaging not only lets you hold a piece of South Tyrol’s orchards in your hands but also contributes to environmental sustainability and the creative reuse of organic materials.

Unbox the flavors of the season: This year’s gift includes a delicious recipe for homemade granola bars, along with a crisp South Tyrolean apple. Once you’ve enjoyed the contents, the box can be repurposed as a pencil holder or a charming gift box.
Pick up your fruity surprise at the local tourist office or receive it directly from your host. Taste the essence of South Tyrol in spring!
