Snowshoe Hike in the Latemar area
Experience pure winter magic in the snowy Latemar area. Untouched snowy landscapes and Dolomite panoramas promise an unforgettable nature adventure.
Experience the pure magic of winter with a snowshoe hike in the deep winter Latemar area, where untouched snowy landscapes and the imposing panorama of the Dolomites promise an unforgettable nature experience.
Tour Description:
After ascending with the cable car from Tiers and then continuing by public bus, we start our hike at the cable car station Paolina. The path leads us uphill through the Latemar-Forest to the Mitterleger. Depending on snow conditions, we then hike either along the Labyrinth trail or trail No. 21 to Latmor Alm. After a lunch break, we descend via the Latemar meadows to the Karerpass, from where we return to Tiers by bus and cable car.
Meeting point:
The meeting point is at 09:00 am at the valley station of the Tiers cable car.
A second meeting point for guests from the Eggental Valley is at the Welschnofen cable car mountain station at 09:30.
We kindly ask all participants to arrive at the meeting point 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. This will allow us to start the tour on time and ensure that we don’t miss the bus at Frommer Alm.
Hiking Time: Approximately 4.5 hours
Ascent: Approximately 500 m
Descent: Approximately 400 m
Difficulty: Technically easy hike, good basic fitness required
Refreshment Stop: Latmor Alm
To bring along
Snowshoeing equipment must be brought by the participant.
If snow conditions do not require the use of snowshoes, we will inform participants via email the day before. In this case, we ask everyone to bring microspikes and appropriate mountain boots to ensure safety and comfort during the tour.
Please check your email the evening before the tour to make sure you have the correct equipment.
Participants who do not bring the required equipment unfortunately cannot take part in the hike for safety reasons.
Storno
Refunds will only be issued in the event of a cancellation by the organizer.
