In and around Lana, hikers are drawn to its highly varied landscape. Lana’s satellite villages lie on the
moraine hills beneath the mountains, contrasting with the fertile landscape that rolls down into the
Etschtal Valley.
Referred to locally as
“Waalwege”, the paths along the old irrigation canals are a conduit linking the villages to the urban promenades in the valleys. The
