Apart from the remaining original structures, the medieval farms of Hochmuth, Mittermuth (Wenner), Talbauer and Untermuth were renovated several times over the years. Today, they are a reminder of a traditional rural culture that still prevails in the area.
Formerly used as livestock pastures and dairy farms, some of the old buildings have since been transformed into popular restaurants. As in the past, much of the work is done by hand and daily life is spartan, demanding commitment and perseverance.
