He therefore does not feel lonely at all: He meets with the people between one confession and the other, reads the Mass in the Capuchin Church and takes part in the everyday life of the inmates in the Lorenzerhof retirement home. As a good shepherd who lives for his sheep, he always has an open ear for needy people and is highly valued for it.
The motorized priest cannot be overlooked when driving on his Vespa through Lana wearing a brown robe, in summer such as in winter. Not only a means to an end, but for almost 50 years the motorcycle has been his most faithful companion. The sprightly eighty-nine year old is still far from thinking about his retirement. He is full of energy and satisfied with his existence. He wants to be surprised by what still comes, according to the motto: Everything has an end someday!
