Alta Val di Non/Deutschnonsberg lies in a spectacular mountain landscape on the crossroads of Trentino and South Tyrol. It extends from the Mendelkamm ridge to the
Maddelene mountains, which form part of the Ortler massif.
Whether on the
Laugenspitze peak, the Maddalene mountains and the Gantkofel-Penegal high mountain plateau: the imposing Dolomites are always in the background.
Surrounding the four villages of Deutschnonsberg there are numerous
trails leading to untouched pastures, woods, slopes and high
mountain lakes. The area is also the natural habitat of several wild mountain animals, including chamois, deer and eagles.
Hiking routes in Deutschnonsberg include the walk to
Felixer Weiher lake, the Aldo Bonacossa trail, and the ascent to the Laugen summit.
