Die weitere Entwicklung

A cold front with further precipitation will pass through early on Saturday morning, with the snow line dropping to around 1800 metres in the north. Afterwards, northerly foehn will break up the clouds and it will be quite sunny in the south. On Sunday, the sun will often shine away from the alpine crest but a cool northerly wind will continue to blow. Monday will bring cloudy weather with local rain. Less windy. Also on Tuesday many clouds have to be expected.

Mountains

The humid south-westerly flow will continue to dominate the weather.
Widespread rain in the morning hours, followed by rain showers or isolated thunderstorms from the south-west. They are most frequent from the Ultner mountains to the Sarntal and Zillertal Alps. Away from these areas, there will be longer dry spells and the sun may appear from time to time.
