"It is now certain for all eternity that I will never marry," Victor is convinced of this at the beginning of the story. Will he still be at the end? Victor is still young and grew up with his stepmother Ludmilla and stepsister Hanna, where he experienced a lot of affection. Before he starts his first job, he is supposed to visit his uncle, the brother of his long-dead father. Full of hope, Victor sets out to find out about his family history, but encounters a bitter old man who has closed himself off from love and affection all his life. He is a true hag, that is, an old bachelor. The Oheim holds Victor for longer than he would like. But he has a life message for him ...
Two generations discuss the existential questions of life. Philipp Hochmair brings the text from the Biedermeier era into the present day. Accompanied by electro-jazz from the band "Die Elektrohand Gottes", he reinterprets it without exploding it performatively. Because "the wildness contained in the text is played out in the language", says Philipp Hochmair. A wildness that is irresistible.
