Gran Galà Puccini

The Grand Gala dedicated to Giacomo Puccini will be held at the Pavillon des Fleures in Merano in the afternoon at 4pm on Sunday 1st December 2024.
On the one hundredth anniversary of the death of this great Italian composer, the Giuseppe Verdi Opera Choir of Bolzano will hold a grand concert with orchestra.
The Verdi and EstroLirica Choirs and distinguished soloists, under the direction of maestro Claudio Vadagnini and a narrator, will retrace the great arias taken from famous Puccinian operas, such as Tosca, Edgar, Madama Butterfly, La Rondine, Boheme, La Fanciulla del West, Turandot.
Delicate feelings of love and death, of passion and sacrifice, of courage and determination, of coldness and cruel satisfaction will alternate in the presentation of the immortal arias, born from the genius of Puccini and which have become famous throughout the world.
