bacchus & pomina | Guided Apple Hike with Tasting

It's healthy, delicious and packed with vitamins: the South Tyrolean apple. Here in Schenna, this popular fruit has everything it needs to truly thrive: sun, elevation and the Alpine-Mediterranean climate. How these advantages affect its taste and what needs to be considered in cultivation, harvest, and storage is revealed in this educational walk with apple farmer Stefan along the new wine and apple trail "bacchus & pomina" on the Mitterplattweg path. The tour is rounded off with a tasting of apples and apple juice at the starting point of the wine and apple trail.

Meeting point is the starting point of bacchus & pomina (at the entrance of Katnauweg), parking is available in the town center.
Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 (every 10 minutes) from Merano (stop about 100 m away).
