At the moment, it is not possible to take bicycles on the train until
28 March 2026, as the Vinschgau railway service is suspended due to track maintenance work. Replacement buses are operating during this period, but bicycles cannot be transported on these buses.
From
29 March 2026, train services will resume on the Merano–Lasa section, initially running once per hour. Bicycles can again be transported on these trains.
From
18 April 2026, trains are expected to run again every 30 minutes between Merano and Lasa. On the Lasa–Malles section, only a limited number of services will operate in the morning and evening. The replacement bus service between Merano and Malles will remain in operation.
In addition, from
18 April 2026, a separate bicycle transport service will be available in the Vinschgau Valley. A minibus with a bicycle trailer will run four times a day between Merano and Malles, helping to relieve the trains of the Vinschgau railway.
